Okay, I was bored and inspired, so I decided to try my hand at the Create Your Own Superhero contest a second time with a second entry. I generally love this type of theme anyhow, and this is the closest I can come to role playing characters again. I have fun thinking up these ideas. Oh well, it got me working at least.

Description



Zoe Dalle was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at age fifteen. She suffered from delusions, but in her
mind she was not suffering at all. Although she was aware at times that her insane delusions were not
real, she felt a sense of comfort in believing in them. So even after she began to take medication, she never let go of this delusion. To be honest, she didn't see how they harmed anyone. What did her delusions consist of? Well Zoe believes that she holds the universe within herself. If she opens her mouth you could see the entire workings of our universe. Or so she thinks. Although she sometimes experiences other illusions of the mind, she can not give up this one.

And of course the 'crazy' ones are always the smartest. Zoe has an insanely quick 'problem solving' ability that she was born with. Through the years, she was raised in a small town in Florida while she realized her calling in life. Most people called her a nut case because she felt she needed to save people, and be a superhero of some sorts. After all, when the world lies within you, you have to do what you can to protect the occupants right? But people did not believe her of course, and since Zoe doubted herself sometimes...she focused on not telling her delusions to other people. Instead, Zoe took up all forms of fighting. Boxing, street fighting, and learning 'pressure points'. She also became skilled with steel poles, knives, and guns (despite her hatred for them). Her only real 'power' seems to have developed recently. Some sort of telepathy, but of course this could all be her imagination. Though it has proven to be quite ironic at some points.

Zoe strives to fight back against all forms of crime under the alias of "Karma." However, with her lack of super speed or flight she is limited to Miami, Florida, where she moved to after turning eighteen. Currently she works as bartender/dancer in the local clubs. No, not strip clubs. And is approaching twenty-six years old. No one knows about her secret life, not even the few family members remaining. Her "superhero" outfit is quite odd to say the least. Her checklist consists of a shaggy purple wig, face paint, green/blue contacts, and the typical body suites (with fitted hoodie types things to cover her face partly) for comfort of course. When she comes home, she returns to her black haired, brown eyed, skirt and t-shirt wearing self.

So all superheros have enemies, and of course she has her 'regulars' but, her biggest problem is an aging man by the name of "Bryan Kimball". The owner of her former job as a store clerk, he saw the wig in her bag one day and caught onto her life of crime stopping. He threatened to expose her, but of course she
denied it and quit her job. Now she constantly has to cover her tracks or risk her enemies knowing her normal identity and never have the chance to live a normal life. It was hard enough already to get close to people without them all knowing her life of crime fighting right?
